I have a Chemsep Property Package and
and a COFE flowsheet with a FixedConversion Reactor.
It produces a calculation error.
Pressure drops from 2 bar (inlet material stream) to almost zero bar (outlet material stream).
Pressure drop within the reactor is set to zero.
What is wrong here?
(The reason behind might be the same as in the previous post (bug with heater/cooler unit)

Re: Error with Chemsep property package and Reactor
If you right click the unit and say "Calculate this unit" you get the error message rather explicit. It is a flash convergence failure. I imagine this is the same issue as http://www.cape-open-forum.org/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=699
Re: Error with Chemsep property package and Reactor
At my end it solves without error message.
The whole flowsheet and the single unit as well.
No error message here, however, the outlet pressure is wrong.

Re: Error with Chemsep property package and Reactor
For me the flash fails - in any case, I suppose indeed 1e-300 Pa is a bit on the low side. Let's wait for the next ChemSep update.
Re: Error with Chemsep property package and Reactor
The pressure bug with Fixed Conversion Reactors is still there. It didn't disappear with the last update.
Re: Error with Chemsep property package and Reactor
There is indeed an issue there. The ChemSep COPP software will require another fix for this. It should be there soon.
Re: Error with Chemsep property package and Reactor
I understand that a fix has been made and will be released by next week - stay tuned for a new ChemSep LITE.
