[Enthalpy]

Post by florianL »

Dear Madam, Mister,
I try to calculate some property of a gaz/liquid mixture with cofe on Excel.
I would like to know the overall enthalpy of the mixture like on COFE. I know how to do it for the vapor and liquid phase but not for the overall.
Can you please indicate me which command on excel give me the possibility to calculate the overall enthalpy?
Thank you,
Regards,

I am presuming you are referring to the Excel CAPE-OPEN unit operation (as opposed to Excel CAPE-OPEN thermo import).

If at phase equilibrium: https://www.amsterchem.com/excelunitoph ... operty.htm

If for a feed: https://www.amsterchem.com/excelunitoph ... operty.htm

If for a non-equilibrium mixture, just calculate sum (phase fraction * phase enthalpy).
