COFE_ObtainProperty. Viscosity

Post by Usseglio »

Hi Jasper,

When using COFE_ObtainProperty formula, to get viscosity value from a given stream, the only way to get the appropriate value is by expressing the composition as fraction not as percent, either mass or mole.

But this is not the case for other properties like density, heat capacity, enthalpy, termal conductivity ,.. in which it is feasible to consider percent, am I right ?

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Composition is always a fraction. TEA does not normalize internally, unless the particular property routine implicitly does the normalization. For example, density calculations using the Amagat routine will not be ok unless compositions are normalized (sum to unity, not to 100).
