Controller Output Connection Problem

After working for awhile on a simulation, I could not complete it because of a problem with the controller. I have isolated it and present it here for your review. Hope you can help.

The controller needs to know what it will be controlling. For that, the information stream must be populated first, which will be done as soon as you connect the other end of the stream to the controlled variable.

Can you connect the other end first, and then try again?
