The Methods & Tools Special Interest Group of the CAPE-OPEN Laboratories Network (CO-LaN) held a conference call on July 12, 2017 to review the interface specification document I edited on June 15, 2017 following the directions agreed upon on June 14, 2017. Bill BARRETT (U.S. Environmental Protection Agency), Jasper van BATEN (AmsterCHEM) and Michael HLAVINKA (Bryan Research & Engineering) attended the conference call along with me.
The comments and modifications introduced after the previous conference call were reviewed and settled till the end of the textual requirements section. No real issue dealt with. Any CO-LaN member willing to have a look to the current document is welcome to contact Bill through this post.
July 12, 2017 conference call
Flowsheet Monitoring is the ability to access all elements in a flowsheet without interfering with the flowsheet. Flowsheet Monitoring Components are software components that can be plugged into a flowsheet and have access to all thermodynamic property calculation methods, all Streams and all Unit Operations.
