CAPE-OPEN Type Libraries and Primary Interop Assemblies
When developing the installation procedure of your CAPE-OPEN Process Modelling Component or Process Modelling Environment, don't forget to include the installation of the CAPE-OPEN Type Libraries and Primary Interop Assemblies. CAPE-OPEN TLBs and PIAs are shared components in between PMEs and PMCs. You should not presume that CAPE-OPEN categories, TLBs, PIAs have been installed on the target machine by somebody else. Read the Developer Guide for CAPE-OPEN TLB/PIA installers and watch the recording of the conference call given on February 24, 2017 by the CO-LaN Interoperability Special Interest Group. This will tell you what steps are necessary. Feedback is welcome.
