Upon starting PCDmanager two messages are shown consecutively:
Information Window: Failed to register C:\Program Files\ChemSepL6v96\bin\ChemSepUO.dllin HKLM
Information Window: ChemSep selected new paths. Do you want to save the new path configuration
As Administrator, I uninstalled ChemSep 6v96, downloaded it, then ran lite.exe as you instructed. PCDmanager started just fine while logged in as Administrator, but the same messages appeared when logged in as a user. This is relatively new, since it did not occur with previous downloads of 6v96 which are initiated automatically when COCO is updated.- the messages you mention seem to indicate that you didn't install ChemSep properly somehow. First try deinstall ChemSep and then to download ChemSep LITE from the http:/www.chemsep.org site and run the installation. If you are the only user, you do not need to install for everybody on the machine, the advantage being that you don't need system admin priviledges under Win Vista/7/8. If these messages persist, please let me know.
Another file-path problem may also be associated in that the PCDmanager Help file {C:\Program Files\ChemSepL6v96\help\chemsep-help} does not open although Adobe Reader is opened with a "file not found" error message.
